Modelling - a great pasttime

Modelling provides you with hours of delightful pasttime. While glue and paint sticks to your fingers you are free to meditate of what went wrong in your last conversation with the favourite chick and dream back to the times when the aeroplane you are constructing was still state-of-the-art technology. View for instance this Avro Anson, a British light bomber-made-training aircraft. One day its occupants would be fully-fledged pilots entering the war-torn skies of Europe, many of them Norwegians.

Set in late summer's nature in my out-door diorama of a Commonwealth air-training airfield in wartime Canada. What hours of simple pleasure did not pass during its completion? It really stresses you down and sharpens your imagination to put the model into a setting to make a whole scene. Highly recommended. I hope to use this blog to give inspiration to others!
